Chinese Ruyi Wand with 3 Jade Panels

A Chinese ruyi wand with 3 jade plaque insets. The top plaque inset into the head of the wand is carved with a pine tree, the other 2 plaques are carved with flowering plants.

Dimensions are: 18 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: The wood of the wand has numerous areas of significant repair.

Provenance: Formerly of the private collection of Dr. Edwin E. Swigart, M.D. (1926 - 2013, American).
