Chinese Semi Antique Mah Jong Bamboo and Bone Game in Rosewood Box, ca. 1930's/1940's
The bone & bamboo game is a lovely split ox bone to bamboo set housed in its traditional Rosewood case, carved with applied pigments. The game has total of 136 tiles and multiple counting sticks so it can be played using NMJL rules or Chinese Rules. It is ca. 1930's - mid 1940's and has the simpler style character tiles.
Rosewood case retains its corner brass trim and each of the drawer pulls. It has both its top carrying handles that are strong and secure; no rack included.
Condition: Good overall, as is, some wear and smudges, some losses and distress lines to wood commensurate with age and use.
