Chinese Silver Enameled Ruyi Wand, 19th Century
A Chinese enameled silver ruyi wand dating from the 19th century. The wand has a blue ground with colorful dragon and phoenix designs. Two pink tourmaline stones are set into the shaft of the wand, and one jade ruyi lock plaque is set into the head of the wand. The jade plaque is incised with two characters. The back of the wand is marked "5925."
Dimensions are: 10 1/4 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches wide, 26 cm X 5.7 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
