Chinese Sterling Silver Filigree Enameled & Jeweled

Chinese Sterling Silver filigree enameled & jeweled Bird of Paradise figure, standing about 5" tall at the tail tips & about 6" in length. The bird is constructed of silver, presumed sterling, with a vermeil gold wash & enameled with colorful dots at the head, eyes, back & feathers. Garnet cabochon eyes, marked Silver ( a common mark the Chinese used for fine quality silver, though we cannot be certain the exact purity for items marked this way ) Weighs 2.34 troy ounces.  * some enamel loss to top of bird's head, as pictured.
