A very lovely Chinese blue and white porcelain jar from the 16th century, Wanli period. Wonderful deep blue colour. Painted with a floral decor and decorated with birds all around. It has a very beautiful shape. Condition: good/acceptable. The neck has some glaze fritting, see photos. The round belly has a crack and in two pieces, see the photos. A few signs of wear and firing flaws, see the photos.
