Chinese carved sodalite dragon censer, of spherical form, having a pierced dragon finial suspending loose rings, surmounting a lid decorated with relief carved floral cartouches, resting on a body with conforming decoration and dragon mask handles suspending large loose rings, rising on a knopped standard with loose rings and relief carving, the whole resting on a domed foot with conforming decoration, having a custom carved wooden stand, censer weighing 19.7 lbs or 8.94 kilos, 16"h x 16"w x 12"d; overall size with stand 18.75"h.
