A Chinese travelling shrine. Polychromatic wood carved deity stands on an immortal beast - Xuanwu. A Buddha's light shines above his head. Comes with a red shrine box. Deity: 8" x 4 3/4" x 3 1/2". With shrine: 13 5/8" x 7 1/4" x 5 3/8".Condition: The deity figure has come loose from the stand; The Buddha's light is loose; some gilt and paint loss.Provenance: From an estate in Baltimore, MD.
