Pen and brown ink and gray wash heightened with white, over traces of black chalk, on blue paper, within partial brown ink framing lines;
numbered in brown ink, throughout the composition: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
inscribed in brown ink with corresponding color notations, verso: i. gialo / 2. torigno(?) / 3 rossi / 4 ...ulo(?) / 5 bianco and bears numbering, verso: 18.
bears old attribution on a tab of paper, verso: Cagniafli(?)
368 by 258 mm; 14½ by 10⅛ in.

Condition Report:
Hinge mounted to a modern cream mount. There is some partial and minor oxidization to the white heightening, however the combination of media remains in otherwise very good condition throughout. There is a small tear to the centre of the lower edge. Sold unframed.
