Salt shakers in the shape of Ric and Rac dogs designed by Pol Rab. Pol Rab is the creator and illustrator of the 2 dogs Ric and Rac, a fox terrier and a scottish terrier and Ric inspired Hergé to draw Snowy, Tintin's faithful companion in The Adventures of Tintin. In animal form: The terrier type dogs are treated in a pure and cubist style which corresponds well to the era. Measuring more or less 9cm each, they are in good used condition, without lack of silvering, with scratches from use. The sitting dog is missing its tail, see detailed photos. Each piece is numbered (model no. 5987 & 5988) and stamped O. Gallia for Christofle. Work carried out around 1925. Careful and insured shipping.
