The Indian was in a children’s shoe store in Chicago between benches so the ends of the base aren’t painted. It was affectionately named 'Minnie'. It was never outside so the paint is original. Early 20th C. A Chicago newspaper photograph shows the Indian in the store 1940s - 1950s.
