Splendid cigarette case from G. KELLER PARIS. EXCELLENT CONDITION. Founded in 1857 by Gustave Keller, Keller was quickly noticed and appreciated, and enjoyed consecration at the World's Fairs, in 1867 he received a silver medal and in 1878 a gold medal. In 1878, his two sons took over the firm under the name "Keller fils et gendre successeurs". Note the lack of elastics. Two hallmarks Minerva 1st title, the case is numbered: 61 61 22 Signed: G.
