Circa 1940s and Later Ladies' Crepe and Other Dresses, comprising a brown woven long sleeved dress, ruffled collar and button fastening to the front, tie belt; brown velvet long sleeved dress with a round neck; red crepe long sleeved dress with V-neck, buttons to the front and pleated skirt; black grosgrain coat dress with V neckline, buttons to the front; brown silk floral patterned long sleeve day dress with buttons to the front; black silk long sleeve dress, lace inserts to the top of the sleeve, diamanté buttons to the back and zigzag detail to the waist; burgundy wool short sleeve dress with V-neck, two button tab, two pockets to the front; Laura Lee Model blue wool day dress with short sleeves, pleated bodice and skirt; brown velvet evening jacket (9)
Condition Report:
. Brown woven dress - slight wear, loose threads under the arms, slight staining and wear. Brown velvet dress - slight wear overall. Red crepe dress - two small holes under the arms and a coujple to the skirt, no belt, slight wear. Black coat dress - slight wear under the arms and overall. Brown silk dress - some buttons missing and others restitched, faded to both shoulders and wear, opening to the front shows wear and overall. Black silk dress - zip loose and needs replacing, lace inserts show wear and discolouration. Burgundy dress - repairs to the v-neck and wear to the wool. Laura Lee Model - later white collar and cuffs applied and discoloured, belt missing, couple of small holes to the lower skirt.
