Note:
The present work was reported as appearing in an antique market in Milan in 1990 which led to a suggested attribution to Bonzi Pietro Paolo by Federico Zeri (1921-1998) (see Fondazione Federico Zeri, no.85237). It is however more likely the hand of a highly talented close associate of the Italian painter Bonzi.
