Condition report:
Oil on canvas which has been lined. The canvas tension is good and the picture is in plane. The paint layer is raised in many areas following the age cracks, there are a few scattered losses. Areas of retouching are fairly well matched to the original and mainly located in the darker paint passages in the foreground. The frame has suffered from wear and losses to the gilded surface.
