[ translate ]

Extensive restoration work was carried out on the bodywork, chassis, engine, gearbox, brake system. The vehicle is ready to drive, but the engine should be checked because the vehicle has been stationary for longer. The chrome parts, seals and the soft top are as good as new. The leather interior and the side trim on the doors as well as the wooden floor are new. The electrical system/ wiring was renewed. Engine and gearbox were overhauled and the engine block was welded and reworked in one section. Due to low oil loss, which is normal for these old vintage cars, an additional oil collection tray was mounted and fixed. The frame was sandblasted, galvanised and coated or painted. The Citroen B10 was imported from the Netherlands in 2020, where some restoration work has already been carried out. This vehicle can be viewed near Landshut. Citroen type B10: The Citroen B10 replaced the Citroen Type B2 saloon in 1924. It was essentially a Type B2, but the first passenger car in Europe to have an all-steel body. "Andre Citroen" got the idea for the all-steel body from the American engineer "Edward Gowen Budd", with whom he entered into a business relationship in 1923 and commissioned him to design all-steel bodies for Citroen. The B10 is powered by a 4-cylinder petrol engine via an unsynchronised 3-speed manual gearbox. The engine produces 20 hp with a displacement of 1452 ccm. The maximum speed is about 70 km/h. The starting price at the time was 25,000 francs.
