Superb piece
. Albert-Ernest Carrier de Belleuse called Carrier-Belleuse, born 12 June 1824 and died at à Sèvres 3 June 1887 He was one of the most prolific artists of the century and knew the greatest under the Second Empire, beneficiary of the personal support of Napoleon III. His work was greatly influenced by the Italian Renaissance and by that of the 18th century, that contributed to restore the style of the time. His workshop at 15 rue de la Tour d'Auvergne in Paris in which numerous artists worked, among them Auguste Rodin.

. The mechanism is functional
. Missing a finger, sword and a small bit of the back of a wing.
. The movement is, in my opinion, not the original.
