Fr. NY-167CFT. A far above average example in overall quality and eye appeal for this issue, even if a more common "genuine" note. Very rare being a circulating Contemporary Colonial Counterfeit on New York. The blank reverse side is very clean. Its holder states apparent splits, tears, repairs, masked stains, design redrawn (near very center). Signed (falsely) by Walter Franklin and Samuel Verplank. This Contemporary Counterfeit denomination and type is specifically listed on page 472 of the (2008) 5th Edition Newman reference, "THE EARLY PAPER MONEY OF AMERICA".
