Folio (523 x 337mm.), 84 double-page engraved maps, hand-coloured in outline, one hand-coloured double-page engraved plate, a few maps with partial paper tags, occasional pen annotations, modern brown half calf, marbled boards, some maps repaired or remargined, minor staining or tears, marginal worming at end, occasional folds

A good collection of maps by the best cartographers of the period. The maps are by Peter Schenk, Cornelis Danckerts, Theodore Danckerts, Justus Danckerts, Gerard Valck, David Funcke, Nicolaes Visscher, Johann Baptist Homann (and heirs), Frederik de Wit, Matthäus Seutter, et al.
