Frame: 38 1/2 x 37 5/8 inches. Craquelure throughout commensurate with age. Paint layer is generally dirty, with discoloration and grime deposits throughout, especially visible on the sky. Scattered instances of apparent blanching to the right half of the canvas. A few instances where the paint layer is relatively thin and the texture of the canvas is visible. A few minute instances of loss to the paint layer. Examination under UV light reveals an even varnish largely obscuring any areas of repair or retouch. With a patch to the reverse of the canvas approximately 1 1/8 x 7/8 inches in size.
