Condition Report:
Relined. Craquelure throughout. Some rubbing and associated losses to the framing edges. Stretcher marks visible. There is a small area of scuffing and associated loss to the left edge. The right corner of the canvas has come detached from the stretcher and canvas is coming loose. There is a small blue blemish, approximately 5mm and associated dent to the sitter's left shoulder. Inspection under UV reveals some evidence of retouching, however a green cloudy varnish may be distorting the extent of retouching.
