Loss to the upper right corner, this has caused the paint to come loose from the panel and reveals the board beneath. Loss to the centre of the upper edge, circa. 1cm. A small further loss to the upper left hand corner along the edge. Some other small losses scattered throughout. Two white blemishes, possibly paint to the lower section of St. Catherine's robe. Horizontal cracking with associated flaking to the upper section which is possibly a later addition and part of a restorative process. Below this section the craquelure is uniform and very fine. Some visible pin holes to the panel (possible woodworm) visible to the lower section. Light surface scratches to the panel. The left and right edge possibly added to and restored. Cradled panel verso. Inspection under UV reveals a green masking varnish, scattered retouching and infilling throughout. Condition Report Disclaimer
