Credenza - Burr walnut, Marble, antiqued glass - First half 20th century
Antique sideboard of Italian craftsmanship, Bergamo, from the 1930s in briar walnut and marble. It has a richly detailed and typical Chippendale-style riser embellished with an antiqued mirror. The cabinet consists of 2 doors plus 4 large drawers which give it a high capacity. It is in good condition with some signs of wear caused by time (see photos) . It is a high quality piece of furniture typical of noble Lombard country furnishings and which is still very elegant today.
