Sideboard - cupboard with opening top, and two doors with internal shelf. The side columns have capitals in gilded bronze. Piedmont, first Empire, c. 1820. Solid walnut cutting board. Refurbishment and preservative restoration, in the last photo you can see the furniture piece before restoration. Shipping is possible throughout Europe, with delivery on the ground floor. Expert note: The sideboard was used by housewives between the seventeenth and early twentieth century to make bread or pasta at home. In the upper part the dough was left to rest in a bowl during the rising process. The second processing took place by placing a cutting board above the bowl. The lower cabinet was used to store the kitchen tools and the flours.
