Marked in plate: "Painted by F. Wheatley R A / Engraved by L Schiavonetti / Milk below Maids / Qui veut du lait il est tout chaud. (translated from French: "Who wants milk, it is all hot.").

Material: Stipple engraving, framed under glass.

Dimensions: Image size: Height: 11"; Width: 7 3/4". Framed: Height: 20"; Width: 17".

Condition: Wear and loss to frame.
