42-piece 2nd grade silver cutlery section consisting of six dinner place settings, five dessert place settings with an extra fork, six dinner knives, six dessert knives, soup serving spoon, gravy spoon, casserole spoon, potato spoon, compote spoon and two vegetable spoons. Schoonhoven's silver factory H. Hooijkaas celebrated its 60th anniversary in 1934. On the occasion, the model 4050 Ideal was introduced: 'a new model of silver tableware in a matt sanded version, which, thanks to its clean line and sober design, fully adapts to the present taste'. Silvermarks: - Content sign: Lion 2. - Year letters: 1947 (m) and 1948 (n) . - Office hallmark: Minervahhoofd M (Schoonhoven) . - Master mark of H. Hooijkaas. Weight excluding knives: 1932 grams of silver. Knife weight: 936 grams. Condition: Good used condition, the gravy spoon has a small dent in the container. The knives have signs of wear and dents, especially on the bottom of the handle, see photos. Can be picked up, or it will be carefully packaged and shipped by registered and insured post.
