Description: Two plates printed on one sheet of paper. Above "Carricatures I" (Engelmann 136), below "Carricatures II" (Engelmann 137). Shows some figures with caricaturing features. In the lower print, according to Engelmann, satirical depictions of well-known personalities of the time.

Size: Paper: 13,9 cm x 21,5 cm (5,5 x 8,5 in), additional specification: Top printing plate: 1.5 x 14.5 cm, bottom printing plate: 2.3 x 8 cm

Condition:Good condition. Large brown discolouration at the bottom of the sheet margin. Partly untrimmed and somewhat soiled along the edges. The depictions make an impeccable impression. Two pale stains on the left margin of the sheet.

Beschreibung: Zwei Platten auf einem Papierbogen gedruckt. Oben "Carricaturen I" (Engelmann 136), unten "Carricaturen II" (Engelmann 137). Zeigt einige Figuren mit karikierenden Zügen. Im unteren Druck laut Engelmann satirische Darstellungen damals bekannter Persönlichkeiten.
