Description: From a series of 6 colour offset prints after photographs taken in 1966/67. The image shows a family sitting in front of a large window in an American diner and looking out onto an empty street. The scene conveys a calm, almost meditative mood and captures the typical ambience of a small American town. With the figures behind and the empty highway, the picture is reminiscent of the works of Edward Hopper, which capture the stillness and vastness of everyday American life. Beschreibung: Aus einer Serie mit 6 Farboffsetdrucken nach 1966/67 entstandenen Fotografien. Die Darstellung zeigt eine Familie, die in einem amerikanischen Diner vor einem großen Fenster sitzt und auf eine leere Straße blickt. Die Szene vermittelt eine ruhige, beinahe meditative Stimmung und fängt das typische Ambiente einer amerikanischen Kleinstadt ein.
