Description: Post-World-War 2 Houses, Vancouver, Canada 1974, from a series of 6 colour offset prints after photographs taken in 1966/67. The work shows a series of identical, rectangular residential buildings in a simple, monotone colour scheme. The buildings have clear architectural lines, flat roofs and evenly spaced windows. Several power cables run above the houses, inserting diagonal lines into the picture and emphasising the strict geometry of the façades. The ground in front of the buildings is overgrown with grass and the overall appearance is cool and calm.

Beschreibung: Post-World-War 2 Houses, Vancouver, Kanada 1974. Aus einer Serie mit 6 Farboffsetdrucken nach 1966/67 entstandenen Fotografien. Das Werk zeigt eine Reihe identischer, rechteckiger Wohnhäuser in einer schlichten, monotonen Farbgebung. Die Gebäude haben klare architektonische Linien, flache Dächer und gleichmäßig verteilte Fenster. Über den Häusern verlaufen mehrere Stromkabel, die diagonale Linien in das Bild einfügen und die strenge Geometrie der Fassaden betonen. Der Boden vor den Gebäuden ist mit Gras bewachsen, und das Gesamtbild wirkt kühl und ruhig.
