DIAMOND BROOCH, CIRCA 1935
The plaque of openwork design, accented with bead-set and bezel-set old mine-cut diamonds and channel-set baguette diamonds together weighing approximately 2.28 carats, mounted in platinum with a 9ct white gold brooch pin, length 38mm, width 14mm, total gross weight approximately 6 grams.

Condition: Condition Report:

In our opinion, the old mine-cut diamonds are probably of G to J colour and VS to SI clarity, the baguette diamonds are probably of G to H colour and VS clarity, as gauged and graded within the limitations of the cutting style and the mounting. The mounting shows some signs of wear in the form of scratches. The settings may require some attention. The brooch pin and safety mechanism are in good working order.

The brooch is of very good workmanship with signs of wear consistent with age and use, not noticeable when worn.

Overall condition is very good.
