DOUG ANDERSON MODERN GLASS NATURE SCULPTURE

Glass sculpture created by Douglas Anderson. Anderson (1957-) is well known for his glass sculptures using the pâte-de-verre technique, which originated in Egypt. One of his pieces is on display at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. This sculpture has blue, red, green, and orange dye mixed into the glass with a branch made of bronze. Signed under the bronze leaf. 8 1/2 X 6 1/2 inches.
