Per 30 anni in Via Telemaco Signorini a Bologna, la NCR ha rappresentato e costruito le Ducati ufficiali del Reparto Corse dell'Azienda. Da quel piccolo atelier sono uscite negli anni, dalle 900 SS di Mike Hailwood fino alle 600 TT2 di Tony Rutter e alle 888 SP di Doug Polen del mondiale Superbike.
Fondata nel 1967 dai tre soci, Nepoti, Caracchi e Rizzi, la NCR fu un covo di motoristi e telaisti esperti, che seppero dare risalto alle moto Ducati sui circuiti di tutto il mondo per ben 27 anni, fino a quando non chiuse i battenti nel 1994.
Questa 900 è stata ritrovata e poi venduta al proprietario dalla concessionaria Celani di Roma, il quale intraprese successivamente un lungo lavoro di restauro, commissionato al meccanico Massimo Tulli. Una volta ultimata la moto è entrata a far parte di un'importante collezione e da allora è sempre stata tenuta in modo impeccabile.

For 30 years, on Via Telemaco Signorini in Bologna, NCR represented and built the official Ducatis of the company's racing department. Over the years, everything from Mike Hailwood's 900 SS to Tony Rutter's 600 TT2 and Doug Polen's 888 SP in World Superbike have come out of that small workshop.
Founded in 1967 by the three partners Nepoti, Caracchi and Rizzi, NCR was a hub of experienced engine and chassis engineers, who showcased Ducati motorbikes on circuits around the world for 27 years, until it closed its doors in 1994.
This 900 was rediscovered and then sold to its owner by the Celani dealership in Rome, who then undertook a lengthy restoration, commissioned to mechanic Massimo Tulli. Once completed, the bike became part of an important motorbike collection and has been maintained ever since.
