Damon Hill's Spa 1998 Grand prix winning signed race gloves,
racing for Jordan Mugen-Honda, With Benson & Hedges and Sparco branding, the gloves signed and dated 98', mounted within a frame with a signed page from his book 'Through the eyes of Damon Hill', and a Jordan team cap.
Spa 1998 was to be a race for the ages after a first corner pile up due to heavy rain meant many drivers had to switch for their spare cars, then after the restart a similar event happened, leaving many out of the race. Coulthard, Schumacher and Hill were then in the top 3, that was until Schumacher and Coulthard infamously collided, with them later confronting each other in the pitlane. Their retirements meant Damon Hill was left the not so simple job of finishing the race in the wet conditions to take his Final F1 win and his team Jordans first win.
The vendor obtained these gloves directly from the team chef.
