Dang LEBADANG (1921-2015) Buddha (Reminiscence) Stone sculpture Signed on the back H: 51 ; W: 27 ; D: 19 cm Provenance: collection of Madame W. friend of the artist Note: This Buddha sculpture was made before 1970 by Lebadang. His serene face is slightly smiling, with full lips and almond-shaped eyes. Much later, after a trip to Angkor Wat, the artist would paint the Buddha series.
