Condition Report:
Please contact bid@aspenartmuseum.org for condition report.

Catalogue Note:
Born in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, and educated at the Cooper Union in New York, the sculptor Daniel Boccato suggests through his work a sensibility that is simultaneously minimalist and Dadaist. His sculptures consist of industrial materials—concrete or medium-density fiberboard or polyester resin—simply and compellingly arranged. Boccato has often combined these with natural and found elements, which have ranged from a lemon, an aluminum window frame, and a plastic raincoat to a metal folding chair, apples, and a bathroom soap dish.

Provenance:
Kindly donated by the artist and Galería Mascota CDMX
