Condition report:
The desk very good with minor edge wear, scuffs, and impressions consistent with age and use; the lid with a few bumps to the front top edge and a few areas of darkening to the lid; the feet and uprights with minor edge wear, and paint embedded in the grain from moving; one spot of darkening to the finish approximately 1 1/2 in. in diameter to the lower third outer section of the left upright; a horizontal pattern of abrasive wear to the veneer on the reverse of the desk box. The chair with overall minor bumps, scuffs, and scratches to the lower legs; paint embedded in grain on one leg; one abrasion approximately 1/2 in. long to the top outer edge of one stretcher; minor scuffs and impressions to the back, with some loss of finish and overall lightening.
