Cyclops and Thunderbird navigate the dangers of the strange island of Krakoa searching for the original X-Men after dispatching new team members Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Colossus, and Storm, with Sunfire and Banshee. Artist Dave Cockrum provides detailed pencils and inks, including a powerful close-up of Cyclops in the opening panel. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Toned, with a stripped-in text correction in Panel 9 held in place by tape on the back, residue staining from a missing paste-up in the last panel, tape residue on the top edge, whiteout corrections, taped paste-ups in the bottom margin, and light staining and handling wear.
