Davis Collamore & Co Plate Set Of Three

This lot contains a Davis Collamore & Co plate set of three. This set was made in England. Davis Collamore & Co was a high end importer of porcelain and glass in New York City. The company was established in 1842 by Davis Collamore and rivals Tiffany & Co. The plates are hand painted and embossed with gold for aesthetic purposes. This gives the gold a raised look/feel over the blue background. The plates are approx 9 1/2" x 10 1/4 and altogether weigh approx 3.5lbs. The set is in good vintage condition with some light ware from use over time.
