De Castelfort 1927 - Bas-Armagnac Millésime Extra - b. 2000s to today - 70cl
Distillery with three stills, named Athos, Porthos and Aramis respectively, as well as a mobile still. The ageing cellar for the Armagnacs houses 550 pieces (oak barrels) of 400 litres, and about twenty casks, four of which have a capacity of 72,000 litres (the largest in Armagnac) . De Castelfort produces good vintage Bas-Armagnacs in a traditional style. Still lively and velvety from the years, we find the ardour and the voluptuousness of the spirit of the musketeers.
