Dino Buzzati Traverso (San Pellegrino di Belluno, October 16, 1906 – Milan, January 28, 1972) was an Italian writer, journalist, painter, playwright, librettist, set designer, costume designer, and poet. From his student days, he collaborated with Corriere della Sera as a reporter, editor, and special correspondent.
