Travel dial with wire axis from the late 18th century, signature PB for Paul Phillip Beringer in the wooden compass with decorated paper in SUPERB condition.

. It’s a large size model, rather uncommon and very fresh.

. It works perfectly with a movable hand.
. Paul Philipp Beringer was the brother of David Beringer (1756-1821) , with whom he probably worked together. He became a master in 1783 and lived in Zirkelschmiedsgasse 2.
