ca. 1800, depicting the myth of Alectryon, set with an enamel dial in an engine-turned bezel, the base set with bas-relief plaques depicting learned muses, set with a silk-string suspension movement.

Condition Report: In overall very good condition, retaining its gilt and lacquered surface with some scattered rubbing and oxidation. There is a missing pin from the top portion of the easel. The works appear to be complete. Key and pendulum lacking.
