Directory dresser - Empire - Walnut - Early 19th century

Antique dresser from the directory - empire period with pilasters and sphinxes on the front, datable to the early 1800s. Completely built in solid walnut interior in poplar wood with dovetail joints and hand forged nails Restored in a professional and conservative way, however, it has small imperfections and signs of aging. The cabinet was born with a single lock that closed both large drawers now missing (visible in the last photo) , from the first drawer 2 non-original and irrelevant knobs were removed during the restoration.
