Display cabinet - Louis XV - Burr walnut, Glass, Oak - Mid 18th century

[ translate ]

Beautiful burr-walnut. Used to display porcelain. Height is only 225 cm and that's the middle - the sides are 200 cm high. Depth top unit is 40 cm. At the bottom 4 drawers. Original mounts. Interior oak. I've given the top side of the interior a French 18th century blue colour. As suggestion. The back is no longer original, later changed. The hardware is of a later date. It is antique, but in the past it had other hardware. The locks are also of a later date, 19th century, the bit sits in the middle - at 18th century asymmetrical. You can also see that there used to be other locks on it, they were a little bigger, see close-ups. See also the beautiful claw legs. I've put waxed it with very good beeswax and polished it a lot. Personally I find the symmetrical shape with those double counters of these doors the most beautiful. You can already find these features in the William & Mary period early in the 18th century. This cabinet is of a later date - late 18th century. 1780 1790. The cabinet can be taken apart and assembled. TRANSPORT: Within the Netherlands, I deliver and help build it for € 150. 00. To the German Ruhr area from Munster to Wuppertal I deliver for €200. 00. Belgium too. Please note that the site automatically gives you one price for entire Europe.
