Grape/Blend: Pinot Noir Food Suggestion: Duck, Goose and Game Birds Wine Style: Red - Savory and Classic Alcohol Content: 13% The 2004 Les Cras from Domaine Roumier is a bit more herbal at the present time, but it too shows lovely purity and complexity down below. The bouquet is a fine mélange of white pepper, red berries, cherries, superb minerality, coffee beans, and a classic touch of mustard seed in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and very pure, with great transparency, lovely mid-palate depth, ripe, moderate tannins and really superb length and grip on the complex and still fairly primary finish.
