Domaine Rossignol-Trapet, Latricieres-Chambertin Grand Cru, 2005 Quantity: 1, 75cl Duty Status: Duty paid
Domaine Rossignol-Trapet, Latricieres-Chambertin Grand Cru, 2005
High fill, label soiled and badly worn. Their first year of conversion to biodynamics. Vines planted in 1934 and the late 1960s. Half whole bunch. Dark garnet. Very sumptuous, well-developed rich notes on the nose. Fully evolved already with some meatiness and delivery of finesse. A really useful, quite precocious 2005 grand cru. Not an infinite number of layers but lots of pleasure and good structure. Just a hint of dustiness. Mildly chunky on the end. Lip smacking. Jancis Robinson (July 2015) JancisRobinson.com
Purchased through Berry Bros. & Rudd and subsequently stored in a private countryhouse cellar.
