Don Montano Art Pottery Lidded Jar on Wheels
Don Montano (American, 20-21st century) art pottery lidded jar on wheels. Jar has a dragon form handle on its lid enhanced with feathers. Crackle-glazed in shades of green, brown, red, and beige with an iridescent finish. Signed Montano on base. Don Montano's work in ceramics was featured during the 1977 Washington, D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities Exposition at the Dupont Center of the Corcoran Gallery.
Dimensions are: 12 inches wide X 10 7/8 inches deep X 11 1/2 inches tall; 30.5 cm wide X 27.6 cm deep X 29.2 cm tall. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Jar is free of breaks, chips, and repairs. Scattered overall peppering due to production.
