Japanese samurai Wakizashi. Single Mekugi peg hole to marked Nakago tang which is vertically signed with 5 Japanese characters. No Tsuka handle. Brass alloy Habaki locket, Tsuba is decorated with gilt depiction of a floral blossom. From the Edo period.
