Comprising an exceptionally well carved Corpus Christi, carved in full round of exact anatomy and proportions with deeply carved folds, cascading hair, veining, open mouth with carved teeth and tongue and a pierced carved crown of thorns. Likely Depe, circa 1890 and mounted on an ebony cross form of the highest quality. The corpus height 9.1 inches (23 cm) and the cross 20 inches (50.5 cm).
