The classic Ganado/Navajo rugs feature a large central motif and intricate geometric double or triple borders with diamond or lozenge shaped designs. Ganado pattern rugs typically make liberal use of red wool - these bold colors and elaborate patterns typify the Ganado regional style. This large rug would be perfect in your living room or den as an early example of this style! MAKER: An unknown Navajo weaver. APPROX AGE: Vintage/antique. SIZE: This rug measures 77-1/2 inches wide x 100-1/2 inches long. CONDITION: Fair for its age, some wear and fading expected.
