From the Collector's Notes: From the collection of Ellen Voorhees (1858-1941) of Bushnell, Illinois. Mrs. Voorhees was secretary of the Woman's Board of MIssions in Bushnell in 1896; it is likely that this Moai may have come from the mission field in Santiago, Chile, following Chile’s annexation of Easter Island.
